It’s that time of year again. As the weather worsens and the nights grow longer, a new FIFA 16 is released. Last year’s release was as popular as ever, but for some fans it was ruined by a range of minor problems: The First Touch Control system, introduced in FIFA 13, was as dodgy as ever, resulting in sloppy play and dozens of missed chances; too much emphasis was placed on physicality, and lobbed through balls were nearly unstoppable due to problems with the positioning of players. Previous FIFA felt sluggish, unrealistic, and less fun than FIFA 16.
Team Dignitas FIFA player Ty Walton agrees, adding: "I will not be sad to leave FIFA 15 behind, as the new game fifa 16 looks incredible, if anything I am excited. As a pro gamer the first thing I like to do is assess the changes made, and if necessary compensate/modify any strategies I employ. Without a doubt I will be spending a fair few hours getting to grip with the new additions when the game comes out." Ultimate Team has turned into the main feature of FIFA 16 over the past years, and EA are milking this cow as much as they can.

Concept squads let you plan and build your dream team and easily search for the real players to fill in the squad, a very handy feature for working on that 100% Chemistry rating. Exclusive to Xbox One are a selection of Legendary players to build a squad with, including one of my all time favorite players, Peter Schmeichel.
FIFA 16 Ultimate Team functions as FIFA 16’s bread and butter. Spend 10 extra bucks for the UT edition and weekly gold packs travel to your club for 40 weeks. This promotion surely gives folks who purchase it an unfair advantage. At the same time the offer quickly pays off since earning coins turns into a grind. The game’s already more than happy to turn your real-world money into FIFA bucks all to maintain your habit. So, if you’re primarily a FIFA 16 Ultimate Team player, the FUT 16 edition’s your best bet.
If you're looking for football that is exciting, exaggerated, and immensely entertaining, FIFA 16 is the game to get. Tactical options have just the right amount of depth to allow you to change the course of a game and call yourself a genius for doing so, but not so much that you're at risk of confusing yourself. If last year's game was a skeleton of what FIFA wanted to achieve over the course of this console generation, then consider FIFA 16 the first layer of meat on top of that.
We’re taking into account that there a vast amounts of FIFA 16 Ultimate Team players who are not having problems, but there are evidently plenty of users who are really having trouble with the app and they should not be ignored. A new more thorough update is required to resolve these issues once and for all, but whether EA is listening is anyone’s guess. We’d like to hear from readers about this. The AI has been made fallible at last - the computer will dive in and give away penalties and get sent off, rather than the squeaky clean performances from previous years. Adding the red card symbol above the scoreboard is a thoughtful touch too.
FIFA is better again. I don’t know how they do it, they just do. Go and buy it. FIFA 16 is fast and fluid though, players make a lot more runs into space then they have done in the past and thanks to better player animation and improved dribbling even newbies can twist and turn around the opposition with general ease. Though with the good comes the bad, thanks to these same animations teams like Man City and Real Madrid will cut you to ribbons as your defence trundles after them struggling to snatch the ball from their grasp.
FIFA 16 is pretty much everything you'd expect it to be: a solid football sim, crammed full of modes, topped up with accurate teams, and sprinkled with the dust of controversy. It's business as usual over at EA Sports Canada, and once again they've served up a decent digital representation of the beautiful game. For the most part, we're happy with what we've been given. As a football sim it's bordering on untouchable (though we can't wait to have a proper go on Pro Evolution Soccer 2015; this year it could be a close run thing). The level of attention that's been paid across the board is, simply put, staggering. The kits, the stadia, the roar of the crowd, the blades of grass underfoot. As ever, the presentation is top class.
