Compare PES 2017 and FIFA 17 in the aspect of licenses
The season of sports game has passed and the popular game has nearly all released. Have you tried these games? IGN has evaluated these games. IGN gives NBA 2K17 high assessment of 8.9. And Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 gets a high assessment of 9.5. As its distract rival, FIFA 17 gets 8.4, 1.1 lower than PES 2017. But when they released in the first week in UK, we found that FIFA 17 won the PES 2017. FIFA 17 has sold 20 times than PES 2017 and broken the record of FIFA 13. Why? Yeah, FIFA 17 has changed many in this year. But how about PES 2017? Here we will compare this two games.
Die-hard supporters of the FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) football-simulation game franchises have been arguing for decades about which is the better football simulator. With PES 2017, you are pretty much stuck with the old. Developer Konami did its best to catch up with FIFA 17 in terms of licensing. For example, it managed to secure licenses for Liverpool (my beloved club), Arsenal, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund. It also has the licenses for continental competitions that FIFA 16 lacks, such as the Uefa Champions League, Europa League and AFC Champions League.
But even in these licensed competitions, there are some fake teams with names like Quarpelather City that you have to play against. Also, there are only a few stadiums that you can play in. Of course, you can change the names of the players, teams and managers to the correct ones, or manually patch the game with fan-made kits and team badges. But it is an arduous process. And they even get the license of UEFA Champions League. Does that mean FIFA 17 lose its advantages? No, that’s not. Plus, if you are a Manchester United or Manchester City fan, you have to put up with some ugly jerseys as well as being labelled Man Red or Man Blue. FIFA 17 easily wins this aspect of licensing with its wide array of licenses that covers almost all the major European leagues, including the English Premier League (EPL).
Furthermore, it has the stadiums of most of the EPL clubs. You even get to enjoy the sight of well-known coaches like Jurgen Klopp, Claudio Ranieri and Jose Mourinho patrolling along the touchline, instead of some random coaches. We have said PES 2016 has got the license of UEFA Champions League, it means we can not see it in FIFA 17 and even FIFA 18. But you can still use these football teams and just lacking of logos. Then you should compare these two game from the gameplay. To be honest, FIFA 17 is too better than PES 2017 in this aspect. And this time FIFA 17 has rewritten the set piece. You can control the ball completely free. As a football fan, I like FIFA 17 more.
