FUT 15 is a very popular game mode in FIFA. We are trying to get the right cards to build the best team as much as possible. When the cards are proposed in the game, packs become to the most important thing. Without them, there would be no cards and without cards FUT 15 would not exist. It is as simple as that.

 

Whilst most of us can only ever dream of getting one of the big two players in the game, this became a reality as we actually pulled a 92 rated Cristiano Ronaldo from a recent FIFA 15 Ultimate Team pack opening. What’s more insane, is that he actually came from a 7.5K pack which is pretty much the lowest that you can get if you don’t include the 5K packs that absolutely no-one opens.

 

So when you first come across packs, you may ask is it worth to buy packs? Am I pay my FIFA 15 coins for packs that might turn out to be useless? When you buy something, you hope that it is worth the money or the energy. However for the packs, you do not know whether it is worthwhile. Because you do not know what is inside the pack you bought. The problem in Ultimate Team is that you do not know what is inside the pack you are buying. There is no way to know if the exchange will be profitable to you. You might buy packs through points or coins. If you get packs by points, the chance of get a good pack is equal. However, if you obtain packs by coins, you may take a certain risks. Because if the pack isn’t good, you will lose your hard-earned coins. In these cases, only you can say if it is worth to buy packs or not, depending of how much real money you are willing to spend.

 

Some of you might wonder is there any research that have studied whether it is worthwhile to buy packs. Unfortunately, it is unpredictable for there being no enough statistics. Imagine, for instance, you open packs worth 4 million coins. But if you open an extra pack and pull a Ronaldo IF card, your conclusions will be completely different. Some players rarely open packs. For they think they're a complete waste of money and they can earn a ton of money by playing seasons.

 

Obviously, when you decide to buy a pack you do it because you are dreaming with pulling a few amazing cards. You don’t do it because of profit. There is always a hope. However, if you make a study like we did you will realize that your chances of getting good cards are low. Since you can buy cards directly in the market, the importance to this study is to know how much the packs are worth. That’s the only way to compare with your investment.

 

We are not suggesting you not to buy packs any more. It is important that people keep buying packs. First because they are paying the Ultimate Team mode (in the first year it was paid). Then, because the game only works if cards keep being inserted into the game and the only good way to do it is through the store.

 

Opening packs is not a good way to build the best Ultimate team. Many players find other players on the market that are selling several very expensive cards and they think they got the money buying packs. They don’t. They probably are really good traders or have used scam techniques. If you open a pack with some famous players, do not put all your coins on it, it is all depends on luck. On the other hand, if you open a pack which is awful, do not be upset, maybe there will be a good one waiting for you. All in all, do bear in mind that don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
