EA Sports's FIFA 16 won't hit shelves until later this month, but gamers can get a sneak peek before it is released. A demo version of the popular soccer title is rolling out to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. The graphics, as expected, have improved with more realistic animations and prominent projections of how players currently look including Lionel Messi’s tattoos. Various new elements have been added to make sure that you as a player have a control over how do you want tackle the opposition's attack. Women's national teams have been added in this year's installment where you can control a total of 12 teams and the demo gives you the opportunity to experience two of them (USA and Germany).

 

One reason that gamers want to play a FIFA 16 demo so bad is that EA boasts that the midfield is finally an important part of the game and how AI plays a bigger role in playing smarter this year. Talk is cheap, but a demo would deliver access to see if the promises of new FIFA 16 features hold up. The FIFA demo is something that gamers count on each year, and this year is no different. We are seeing gamers on Twitter asking when they can download the FIFA 16 demo on PC, PS4, Xbox One and other platforms. The demo for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC enables users to access ten teams from international domestic leagues, as well as the US and Germany women’s national teams. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach, Paris Saint German, Inter Milan, as well as the Seattle Sounders and River Plate.

 

Though the bomb is the key to victory, you’ll quickly realise that controlling space is paramount. Using your active chap to deny areas and block enemies, narrowing their paths and options, gets you further than nipping at their ankles. Speaking of, a little violence is permitted, but curiously little. It’s tricky but awfully interesting. I was only disappointed I couldn’t control all 11 warriors at once. Having played only two or three of the 15 earlier FIFA games, I couldn’t reasonably judge 16 as part of a series. However, if you enjoy real-time tactical action, I’d say maybe give it a look. You also get two women’s international teams for Germany and the US, with the addition of female players being one of the major new features of the main game.

 

There are three stadiums included as well: Borussia-Park, Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu, and CenturyLink Field. Those familiar with the standard FIFA demo process will know it’s futile to read too much into how the game plays at this stage. Like all previous demos, FIFA 16 demo will be an older build than the eventual release version. This is the public release of the demonstration version that’s been knocking around trade shows since at least June. What we end up with in two weeks time will be slightly different, as it was with FIFA 15 (whose demo I actually enjoyed more than the finished version). In addition to that, the demo is single player only. The more significant problems with FIFA only tend to emerge once players start going head to head.

 

EA has revealed details of one of the new modes debuting in this year's FIFA 16. FIFA Ultimate Team will see players drafting and building their own team using drawn cards in a similar way to how FIFA Ultimate Team works already. You'll first pick a formation and then selecting a captain from a selection of world football's best known superstars. You then need to pick a player for each position based on a five-card draw. You'll need to select all 23 players for your squad but you can randomly generate your reserve team to save time. The difficult part, as with FIFA Ultimate Team, is how well your players gel together in terms of chemistry. 

 

Now EA has caught up on this and improved it, now if you play at a semi-pro level and you put lets say Chelsea and Manchester City up against each other it is much harder to play then you would be playing with 2 lower skilled La Liga teams (Spanish league). This will make Career mode in the game a lot more interesting and more difficult. Overall the game has improved from the Fifa 15 version and it’s a huge leap from Fifa 15 where as there wasn’t much of a change from Fifa 14 going into Fifa 15.
