Next up, what’s changed up front? In FIFA 15 it was too easy to adopt a single attack strategy, rinse, and repeat. But thanks to the improved defense and keepers, you have to be more creative and think on your feet. It’s much more exciting. FIFA 16 seeks to emulate football training with Trainer. FIFA Trainer is an organic tutorial, which is completely optional, and fits to how you play. When enabled, it shows you two possible actions whenever you are controlling a player. Once you’ve performed its suggestions a few times, a newer, more advanced suggestion will appear. This keeps you playing and learning at the same time.
That said, there are few new features that fit that description. However, they actually add to the game positively rather than just being included for the sake it. Take the purpose pass for example. After using it, I actually wondered why a football game hasn’t featured this before. In simple terms, it’s a pass with more power on it than usual. You might think it sounds just like holding the pass button down longer, but that’s not the case. This pass has more genuine zip on it, the idea being you use it when you want to thread a pass through a tight gap or thump it forward when you’re on the break. Players will bend and curl balls into the box around defenders, genuinely looking for players on the same team and their runs. If you use it effectively, it turns every chance to cross the ball into a real opportunity. I loved it.
This is the big one, the return of indoor football is one of the most requested features every year. It made waves in
FIFA 16 account and although it has appeared via FIFA Street fans are desperate to see it back in the main games. Indoor football was immense fun and given the power of graphics and the game as a whole now it is easy to get excited about the possibility of the feature returning. While FIFA 16 has yet to officially roll out, game experts are already looking for ways to improve the Football FIFA 16 Ultimate Team (FUT 16) of the upcoming installment of the series.
There are hopes from gamers that EA should consider making some adjustments on the gameplay including the toning down of boosts, tweaking of goalkeepers’ intelligence, clarity over game chemistry, and improvements on in-game challenges. Full FIFA spoke about “No Touch Dribbling” briefly in this post. But in case your wondering think Lionel Messi jogging behind the ball without touching it and then making a sharp turn to the left or right and accelerating. For this new dribble system, EA Sports captured the FC Barcelona striker’s movement using their high tech motion capture cameras.
FIFA is one of EA Sports’ most successful franchises and for good reason. For several years, the FIFA franchise has rivaled PES to be the most authentic and realistic soccer simulation. The best part about this rivalry is that both Konami and EA Sports put their best efforts in each annual title. So, when will we hear the truth about these rumors? It won’t be long, as E3 2015 is only a few weeks away and EA will finally spill the beans on FIFA. “Now we’ve had to implement a new system that allows for the hips to be moved, the shoulders to be moved vertically, and the width of those bones and joints to be a factor too."
The game will be published by EA and arrive on most major platforms (PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 3) in late summer. More details about the other enhancements coming to the series will be made gradually at E3 in June, Gamescom in August and -- no doubt -- on your social media platform of choice until release day. PlayStation have enjoyed an expanding host of exclusive co-op Strikes, Crucible maps, exotic weapons that have come first to the Sony console. And with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King on September 15, it will come with more exclusive content, which will be timed exclusives until at least Fall of 2016. The PS4 co-op strike, The Echo Chamber, sees fans join forces with their fellow guardians to hold off an onslaught of Vex, and sabotage their efforts to bridge time and undo the victories of the past.
