The Ultimate Team Edition of FIFA 16 will be for sale in Autumn 2015. Consoles that have been confirmed are: PS4, PC and laptop, and the Xbox One. Versions for other consoles and operating systems have not been officially confirmed by EA Sports, EA and EA Canada. The football game FIFA 16 and the Ultimate Team (FUT) mode will contain players of the football season 2015/2015. FIFA 16 will be announced at the E3 conference in Los Angeles in June 2015. A few weeks/moths after the announcement it will be possible to pre-order the game. EA Sports has addressed recent changes to pricing in Fifa 15's Ultimate Team, and the backlash from numerous angry fans. The move was made to combat illegal coin farmers and sellers and "level the playing field" for all players. "FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) should be fair and fun for every player," reads their blog post. "What are we trying to achieve with these changes? It's simple – we want to keep the game fair and secure for everyone, and ensure a level playing field for all FUT fans."
The current format of Ultimate Team requires you to buy players, create a squad, pick a formation and assign a manager (optional). When you start a match, you are able to set custom tactics but these settings won’t save and continue to your next match. If I were to redesign this part of the game, I would make the team sheet functionality part of the squad configuration, meaning that these settings were set per squad with the possibility of copying them onto other squads. It makes no sense to configure these things per match, since you don’t know anything about your next opponent anyway. For the last two years, the Xbox versions of FIFA games have had extra players for Ultimate Team, including legend players, and it's likely those picking up the Xbox 360 or Xbox One versions of FIFA 16 can expect the same.

If FIFA 16 wants to prove itself as the best football game on the planet, Ultimate Team has to improve and there’s a number of features and fixes for EA to consider. Some might be considered common sense, while others might seem a bit controversial, but hey, what’s the point in playing it safe?
