FIFA update includes general improvements stability
FIFA Ultimate Team Draft, a Revamped Career Mode and Plenty of New Gameplay Features are on The Way. This year’s edition of Career Mode features two huge additions – Pre-Season Tournaments and Player Training. Before jumping into a new official season, your chosen club will have the chance to hop into three tournaments (there will be a total of nine pre-season tournaments available). These pre-season tournament locations will take your team to either North America, Europe, Latin America or Asia.
The matches you’ll play within these pre-season tournaments will help you strengthen your team tactics and award you with the funds needed to stay strong during your official tournament play. Upgrades apply to new non-inform players found in packs. Non-IF players in your Club will not receive an upgrade. If an upgraded player’s new OVR rating equals or surpasses his existing first in-form’s rating, his IFs will get an upgrade. Upgrades apply to new players found in packs from this point forward. Existing non-IF players in your Club will not receive an upgrade.
If an upgraded player already has one or more in-forms, all of his IFs will be upgraded respectively. If you already own the IF version of an upgraded player, your IF will be upgraded. However, if an upgraded player with a previous IF gets upgraded across Quality tiers (eg. Bronze to Silver), his IF will not be upgraded. This preserves the value of the IF and ensures your Bronze and Silver squads aren’t negatively affected. If an upgraded player’s new OVR rating does not equal or surpass his existing in-form’s rating, his IFs will not get an upgrade. (Ex: Jamie Vardy went from 71 to 75 OVR, his 82 Record Breaker will not receive an upgrade)
The update includes improvements for general stability and according to EA Sports, addresses issues identified by the "FIFA" community. Some of the improvements include "FIFA" trainer button tuning, player clipping and referee/kit clashes. The biggest mode in FIFA 16 comes in the form of FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) Draft. This mode will challenge players to build their own custom, 5-player team. You’ll be able to draft new players by unlocking or purchasing new player packs over time. This process then goes towards the development of a team that fills the positions needed to create perfect on-field synergy.
No one anticipated this, but EA Sports released a surprising first batch of FIFA 16 Winter Upgrades last Friday. Due to the unexpected release, we now more or less know that the second batch will release this coming Friday. Many players are eager to know the release time and we can more or less confirm via EA’s predisposition to following patterns. We should expect the release around 10am UK time. This is the time in which the full list of batch 1 upgrades was available so unless something changes until Friday, this is the time which you can now look forward to.
For the majority of FUT players spending this amount would be taking a big chunk of their budget and so it’s important you know what you’re going to get from a player before parting with yours coins.
