Players should focus on their own skills in FIFA 16
In FIFA Ultimate Team, having a strong line-up or your skill alone will not win you games. There are other things which can alter the outcome of the game; chemistry and fitness is a couple of things you should keep in mind. For more help on FIFA 16, read our Best Young Players, FUT Coins Farming Tips and Defending Guide. Forward or attacking style for a team is used in increasing the shooting stats of players. This mode of play requires the communication in the team to be effective and it needs well-coordinated passes. The chemistry involved mainly concentrates on player’s ability to control and pass the ball.
The ability of players to do this effectively will depend on how well they fit to their different roles. There are several individual ones in this approach and all of them have an additional skill other than shooting. Chemistry can be described as the relation between a player and his club or his position. Ideally, you need to have a higher chemistry to encourage the player’s performance. The first idea that has to be present is that the chemistry is extremely important for the success of any team. In previous editions, EA have announced that “a bronze team with chemistry 100 can win without great difficulties a gold team without chemistry”. That is why it has to be taken seriously when you plan to start a new team.
Another important concept, which is not always present, is that there are two kinds of chemistry: each player’s individual chemistry and the chemistry of the team. Both influence the performance of the players on the pitch. The defending style is one of the most common team chemistry used. The individual player chemistry suitable for it include Sentinel, this increases qualities in physical and defending stats. Guardian boosts the stats for defending and dribbling. Gladiator boosts defending and shooting. Backbone increases the defending, the physical and passing stats.
Anchor upgrades pace, defending and physical stats. Last in this chemistry is Shadow, it improves pace and defending, it is also one of the costly special ones. In this approach the individual player’s chemistry that can be applied include Artist, which increases dribbling and passing stats. Architect, improves physical and passing stats. Powerhouse mainly contributes to defending and passing stats. Maestro is the most versatile, it increases the dribbling, passing and shooting stats. Engine boosts the pace, dribbling and passing. The last one in this category is Catalyst which boosts pace and passing stats.
In FUT 16, players received boosts for every stat. Since FUT 14, players receive boosts for a chosen number of stats dependent on the Chemistry Style selected. These cards can be applied to a player to change their style of play adjusting the players attributes to their squad needs. Chemistry Styles cards allow players to choose which stats will be affected by chemistry. The chemistry styles cards do not change the chemistry numbers. They redistribute the stats that will receive chemistry boosts.
Chemistry boosts will increase the value of specific in-game stats – thus increasing the player’s ability to perform. In a partnership with the FIFA Game News website, we have built several FUT 14 calculators that make the things easier to the players and help them to understand better how the game works. The first of these calculators are the one that allow you to find out the individual and squad chemistry, you probably already know that it is not easy to calculate the chemistry. We have explained step by step how to get it but the truth is that a slow process.
