Career Mode is a hugely popular feature in FIFA games, but in recent years major improvements have been few and far between as it has taken a back seat in light of the popularity of Ultimate Team. Nevertheless, it is still a firm favorite amongst FIFA players and a mainstay for offline gamers in particular. The current Career Mode in FIFA has not evolved much from the days of previous generation consoles and questions have rightly been asked as to why it is continually being neglected as new iterations of the franchise are released. New information on features set to be included in FIFA 16 have been released this week during the Cologne event, including revamps to the Career Mode.
It seems Career Mode will include two top requested features missing from earlier titles in the successful football franchise, EA had already announced the new FUT Draft system set to be added during their press conference. These changes are available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC only unfortunately, so if you want the full experience you may need to upgrade to a new-gen console. Before the start of each season, almost every team is required to travel around the world to prepare during the summer. The point of pre-season is to shake off the dust that might have been accumulated during the player holidays and play sorts of glorified practice games to get back in tune.
For FIFA 16, EA has introduced the concept of this key development period into the game in the game's Career Mode. Prior to the start of the season, each club will now be invited to three out of a possible nine tournaments, played in Asia, Europe, Latin America, or North America. The first includes invites for worldwide pre-season tournament that allows you to try tactics, test out substitutes and train your starting 11 ahead of the regular season. Any price perks received from this pre-season automatically carry over to your transfer budget. The second provides a more detailed and realistic player training system. As a manager, you can supervise weekly training sessions for up to five players at a time - this includes practice drills aimed at strengthening attributes like passing, finishing and tackling.
On the player mode side, you can hone in on a single player through multiple practice sessions and control and evaluate real-time progress. Making the career mode online could add a new height to FIFA series, though EA has to sweat a lot to implement this one. There can be an ability to set training regimes, in which players can improve on specific areas, shooting, passing etc. A little bit change transfer mode in which player along with cash offers in transfer mode will make it more interesting. Various fans are also giving their views about the return of the visual sim which was present back in FIFA 13. Some more changes in transfer mode can be as buyout clauses, pre contract agreements, first refusal etc.
First of all, proper preseason tournaments are been added to FIFA 16 manager mode - as well as providing opportunities to effectively test your squad, they can also swell your transfer kitty if negotiated successfully. Even more exciting is the innovative new system for training, both as a manager and a player - it seems that gamers will have extensive control over pre-match preparations from now on. This is a very big deal in the world of FIFA 16, as players will want to know who is the best young player to buy in FIFA 16 that has great potential to upgrade to a much higher rating over the course of the season. The good news, is that EA has already made your life much easier. You may not realize but the developer has given fans a head start by unveiling their official list of FIFA 16 hidden gems for potential ratings. Add to that a more detailed approach to commentary, pre-match stats, a few key tweaks to transfers and an all-year-round scouting system, and suddenly the prospect of the game's release is ridiculously exhilarating.
